‘Budget Property 2009-Western Suburbs, a three day exhibition, showcasing the properties in the range of Rs. 6 to 49 lakhs, held under the auspices of Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI), the prestigious body of real estate builders and developers in the country, has evoked an overwhelming response.

The exhibition, held at the Imperial Banquets, Lotus Hall, Raghuleela Mall, Kandivali, witnessed 8880 families i.e approx. 26,640 walk-ins turnout during the three days between January 16-18.

“We witnessed keen buying interest from home aspirants, who came in large numbers to see the exhibition exclusively for the budget properties in the range of Rs.6-49 lakh. We are sure that the exhibition will certainly result into good bookings in the days ahead”, said Mr. Harish Patel, Convenor-Exhibitions, MCHI.

Budget Property 2009- Western suburbs’ was inaugurated by Mr. Gopal Shetty, MLA Maharashtra and President Bharatiya Janta Party, Mumbai Unit on January 16. Prominent among those who were present at the inauguration were our Guest of Honor Mr. Arun Kumar Agarwal, Deputy General Manager, SBI, Mr. Sunil Mantri, President - elect MCHI along with other esteemed MCHI Managing Committee Members.

As many as over 32 real estate developers displaying around 200 plus properties, marketed their budget properties located in the Western suburbs during the exhibition.

Prominent real estate developers, who participated in the event included ACME GROUP, AKRUTI CITY LIMITED, ARROW ENGINEERING LTD.,CHAUHAN GROUP, EVERSHINE BUILDERS PVT. LTD., GREEN COURT DEVELOPERS, KALPATARU LTD., MAYFAIR HOUSING, MITTAL BUILDERS, POONAM BUILDERS, RAUNAK GROUP, RISHABH GROUP OF COMPANIES, ROYAL PALMS (INDIA) PVT. LTD., RUSTOMJEE, SANGHVI GROUP OF COMPANIES, SHIVAM PARIVAR DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED., S. K. DEVELOPERS, TIRUPATI CONSTRUCTIONS, VINAY UNIQUE CONSTRUCTION CO. among others.

The Budget Property 2009 exhibition was partnered by the State Bank of India. Financial institutions such as LIC Housing Finance Ltd, HDFC, ICICI Home Finance Co. Ltd., Union Bank of India, Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd, also participated in the exhibition.

Mr. Deepak Goradia, Co-convenor Exhibitions-MCHI said, “Budget property exhibition was aimed at a specific range of buyers and received a very good response for all participants. These home aspirants who were looking out for better shelters at affordable prices at various locations certainly gained from the exhibition going by the overwhelming response.”

Mr Pravin Doshi, President MCHI said, “We are happy with an encouraging response to the ‘Budget Property 2009- Western suburbs. The turnout was good keeping in mind the recent government and bank initiatives towards the real estate industry as well as the banking sector in general.”

Developers engaged in the construction activities and having projects from Andheri (E) Goregaon to Dahisar, Mira Road to Virar and beyond participated in the exhibition.
