Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI) - Is a representative body of leading developers engaged in Housing & Real Estate Developments. MCHI stands as liaision between members and local authorities Central & State Governments.
MCHI members are accountable for supplying / providing 80 to 90% of houses / flats in Mumbai and its vicinity. It is the constitutional obligation of the State and Central Governments to provide shelter to the shelterless. Thus, our members directly help the Government in meeting their constitutional obligations.
MCHI membership stands at over 500 members. Membership is open to all companies, firms, agencies, individuals etc., who are in some way, connected to the housing and construction sector. MCHI encourages dynamic and like-minded people, to come forward to, not only becoming a member but also contribute effectively to its common cause and play an active role. Besides, MCHI in close coordination with local and national associations such as CREDAI & CREDAI Maharashtra, is reaching out its services to various Indian cities and in the state of Maharashtra,
MCHI Managing Committee members are often called upon to serve on the Committees constituted by the Government of Maharashtra, BMC, etc. on housing-relates issues. Our members also speak on various housing-related matters in various seminars, forum organized by the Government and Various federations.
MCHI with its clear focus on giving the real estate industry a direct access to the home buyer, has designed exclusive Property Exhibitions in the last nine years in Mumbai as well as out of India. These exhibitions have proved to be an extremely effective route for builders and developers to reach out to the home and property buying people of Mumbai.
